Green Schools Program

Green-Schools, known internationally as Eco-Schools, is an international environmental education programme, environmental management system and award scheme that promotes and acknowledges long-term, whole school action for the environment. We have currently achieved our Litter and Waste Flag, Energy Flag, Water Flag and Travel Flag.

The Convent Junior School is currently preparing for our 5th Green Flag which focuses on Biodiversity. As we explore the Green Schools Theme of Biodiversity we aim to increase the awareness of the importance of native plants, animals and habitats throughout our school community as we are striving to increase species richness in our school grounds.
