Wellbeing
In the Convent Junior School our wellbeing Curricular Area aims to nurture the physical, social, and emotional development of young learners through SPHE (Social, Personal & Health Education) and PE (Physical Education). Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, children build confidence, develop positive relationships, and learn essential life skills.

In SPHE, we explore feelings, friendships, safety, and wellbeing through stories, discussions, and playful activities that foster self-awareness and empathy.
In PE, children develop fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and a love for active play, promoting lifelong health and fitness.

Together, SPHE and PE create a supportive environment where every child can thrive, feel valued, and develop the skills needed for a happy and healthy life.
