After School Club

We provide quality after school care for the children of the Convent Junior School. Our after school fun includes arts & crafts, physical activity, sensory garden, playground games, baking, homework, eating together and Movie Time!!!!  This all takes place in an age appropriate and child centred setting within the school.

 

Our service is operational until 3.40pm Monday to Thursday starting from 1.40pm  for junior and senior infants and 2.40pm first class children.

Michelle Rafter runs our after school club. She also works within our school as a special needs assisitant during the school day.

A nutritional snack is provided to all children whilst in Afterschool Club with milk or water.

Prices (based on 4 day attendance)

1.40pm – 2.40pm : €5 per week

1.40pm – 3.40pm : €10 per week

2.40pm – 3.40pm : €5 per week

Please note that our Afterschool Club is not a homework club. If children wish to do their homework during after school club they may do so but it is the parents responsibility to make sure they check their child’s homework every evening as this a great time to interact in learning with your child and we think it is very important to maintain that connection.

Spaces for our After School Club are limited and we would advise parents to apply early. If you wish to avail of this service for your child, consent forms are available on request at our school or you can click here to download.
