What a fun time we had this week learning all about the Water Cycle...The children learned a new song and dance all about the Water Cycle and made their very own Water Cycle in a bag! We had great fun in art making a Water Cycle on paper plates! As always our learning is hands-on and lots of fun!

The children have had great hands-on fun in 1st with Numeracy this year so far. We have been outside doing maths trials, programming bee-bots and learning lots through Maths Stations.

This month we are learning about Hope Castle in history. We took a walk to see the castle and compare it to the old photos we have been studying. While we were there, we took a nature walk and collected leaves, conkers and acorns. We took our natural treasures back to school to create some beautiful nature mandalas together.
