Encouraging Biodiversity - The Gardening Committee

Updated: Mar 13

The children at Convent Junior School play a vital role in encouraging biodiversity through their dedicated gardening efforts. By planting a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables, they create habitats that attract bees, butterflies, and other important pollinators. Their work in maintaining bird feeders and bug hotels further supports local wildlife, making the school grounds a thriving ecosystem. Through their hands-on involvement, the children learn the importance of protecting nature while actively contributing to a greener, more sustainable environment.
